There is no perfect date when you "must" start. But there is a good time to put down what is important to you and find out what options are available.

Start with the things that influence everything else

First discuss the desired time period, the approximate number of guests and the budget you are comfortable with. These three benchmarks help you choose the location and type of event. If you have a fixed date or want a specific place, start your search as early as possible: availability can change the whole plan.

Divide preparations into stages

Once you have the date and venue, deal with the vendors who can only attend one event that day: photographer, videographer, music and, if you want, wedding planner. Then comes the concept part: the atmosphere, the flowers, the outfits, the invitations, the menu and the special moments. In the last few weeks confirm the numbers, times, contact persons and plan for the wedding day.

What do you do if time is short?

Don't try to solve everything at once. Set three real priorities and accept that some details can be simplified. A wedding prepared in a shorter time frame can be beautiful and personal if decisions are made clearly and information is centralized.

Your calendar should help you, not scare you. If you already have the date and location, we can start right there and build the missing steps.
